The America Traffic Safety Services Foundation is partnering with Experience Camps to provide children of roadway workers who were killed in work zones a safe place to meet other children who are coping with similar challenges. The one-week Experience Camps are places for kids to laugh, cry, play, create, and remember the person who died - or forget the grief that weighs them down. "While The Foundation will continue the Roadway Worker Memorial Scholarship Program for higher education dreams, this additional program is geared to children who are left with heartache when a parent is killed in a work zone," said Foundation President Tom Wood, of Sherwin-Williams.

The cost of round trip travel expenses for the child will be covered by The Foundation. Applications are now being accepted through July 15, 2016. To download the application program, click here. Please help The Foundation by encouraging eligible families to apply.
